Blog Journal #9

     My experience as a distant learner has been rather positive. At the beginning of COVID-19 I was not found of the sudden change, but overtime I learned to love it. I love being able to do my work at my own pace. I do not dislike anything about distance learning. However, as a teacher I think it is extremely difficult. As a future teacher I will have to set up a lot online but it will benefit the students in the end.  As a future educator I will be sure to incorporate Open Educational Resources (OER), which are learning resources that anyone can access and use online. These "open" educational resources are free to use and you can often remix them, share them, and edit them. Blog Journal #8

 When designing my website I learned many new and helpful skills. For instance, I learned how to align text which ultimately makes the page more organized. I also learned how to attach a link to text that opens a separate tab or takes you to the different sections on my website. Finally, I learned how to embed a Google Calendar into my website. Overall, I had such a fun time creating my website because I got to get creative!
